Score: HT 7 - 12 FT 52 - 12

Park didn't turn up for the first 20 minutes and Toc H went into a 12-0 lead. A try started and finished by Phil Sutcliffe late in the first half left Park trailing 7-12 at half time. Some tough talking and soul searching during the interval did the trick. Basically the flood gates opened and the work rate increased 100% and Toc H had nothing to offer.

The forwards took control and set the platform for tries from Gareth White, Rob Young who chipped the ball and outpaced the defence to collect the ball and go in under the post. It then became the 'Tom Chappell Show' who ran in two tries showing great pace and an eye for the opening. Not to be out done, Geoff Kendall got into the act and made a great break and showed some pace, running the ball in from the 10 metre line. He even managed a hitch-kick to out pace the full back and score under the post. Geoff was now in new territory and looking completely lost had to be escorted back to his own half!

The scoring spree was finished off by Rob Rock who scored on the right against his old club! Pete 'golden boots' Oakes converted all 7 tries and slotted a penalty for good measure.

A big welcome back to Joe Wykes, just like the old days, the socks were a bit short though Joe, very Canal Street!!!!!

What a second half, well done lads. If we can manage to put 80 minutes together next week against Vale 3rd's I can see a cricket score. But we must get into the game straight from the whistle!
