On 20 mins a try went begging when a 'Park centre chose to go on his own and was tackled short of the line with two players outside him. 'Park won the following scrummage and John Clifford made good ground to score near the corner.

Half an hour into the first half 'Park forwards had a driven maul and John Clifford broke off making good ground, passed to Mark Poole who shrugged off several tackles to score near the posts. 13 - 5

After a poor kick out from Liverpool the ball was caught and passed out to Simon Verbickas who fed Stuart Coackley who was stopped, but the forwards recycled the ball to be fed to Stuart again and he scored in the corner. 25 - 5 after 47 mins of the first half.

10 mins into the 2nd half a long driven maul by 'Park made good ground. John Clifford picked up and drove on to feed Mark Poole who also made good ground before feeding Matt Sheen who scored just wide of the posts. Tom Foden missed the conversion.

With 'Park taking their collective foot off the pedal and a few injuries, Liverpool came more into the game putting 'Park under pressure for long spells of the second half, but with good tackling and poor execution 'Park kept them out

'Park did finally manage to get back into the Liverpool half and from poor kick out from Liverpool the ball was fed to Matt Sheen, now playing on the wing, who danced around several players to score near the posts. 'Park's 3rd kicker of the afternoon Shaun Stirrup converted to make the final score after 46 minutes of the second half 37 - 5.
